Before we embark upon part deux of our Costa Rica wedding from Jose Villa, we have to share with you that there will be a part III to this delightful destination wedding. So please stick around to see all of this island beauty.
Even thought Alex and Akil were far from home, they creatively customized their destination wedding with the help of Tropical Occasions.
Color: Hues of orange and greens where sprinkled throughout the wedding decorations
Native: Costa Rica is know for their coffee, so tying it into their decor was a perfect fit. They chose to use hurricane vases filled with coffee beans and candles.
Non Traditional: Bright green limes were used as escort cards.
Ambiance: Miniature lanterns held by a small orange ribbons hung in the lounge space for a romantic vibe.

Wow, I loved reading about all of the beautiful destination weddings. So glad you shared this. I just got engaged (finally!) and am in the infant stages of planning my wedding…and am looking into having a destination one! The wedding is probably not going to be for another 2 years, but we will be having an engagement party in the Fall. I am looking for some registry tips for my engagement party. Someone reccomended MyRegistry.com to me, but wanted to know if anyone else has had experience with this site? I wanted to create a registry for the engagement party because my fiancee and I will be moving in together soon and could use some new items for the our apartment :) Thanks!
