Myra Callan is the owner and designer of these precious hair pieces. She has been in a ton of magazines and is currently in Brides Magazine. Everything she makes is stunning.

One of my favorite pieces is the bridal mini hat. They can include custom handmade flowers (you pick the color), vintage lace, tulle, feathers, beading and more. Incredibly lovely.

  1. Twigs & Honey are amazing! I first discovered them through one of my brides last year. And now that I’m beginning to plan my own wedding, I’ve been browsing through her collection again. My personal favorite is the purple silk flower with guinea fowl feather accents

  3. I find those hair pieces stunning. I can hardly decide which of them I like best, because they’re all beautiful. If I had to choose though, my favourite one is probably the “Ivory and taupe silk flower with feather accent” which is featured on the website. It’s just so elegant. The flower petals look natural and gorgeous and I love the colours that were used. Ivory is so classy. And the feather just makes this hair piece stand out from the rest.

I’m not nuts about corsages for the mother of the bride and groom, and my mom just told me that at her wedding, her mom (my grandma) wore flowers in her hair instead of a corsage! The duck egg flower hat initially struck me so did the veil with feathers and berries. Myra inspired my dress design ideas and I have since sourced 19th century lace which I found at an antiques fair. The dress will have bright amethyst colour under the lace for a real vintage feel and a sea green/irish lace collar jacket. What I love about Myra’s collection is the flexibility of her work which sits comfortably with Victoriana and contemporary design and as I am getting married at a palmerston Fort that was built in 1860 I think a piece like this will be all I am missing!
