Honeymoon Registry From Traveler’s Joy

Skip the blender! Create lifelong memories with your honeymoon registry.

Nick and I did not get to go on a honeymoon. But, I would have loved to go somewhere incredible like the Bahamas or Hawaii instead of getting a blender. That blender that we received lost the lid and one of the buttons no longer works. I can honestly say that I wish that Traveler’s Joy existed when I was getting married. I would have so been there in a heart beat. If you are wondering about the etiquette of creating a wedding registry, professionals say a honeymoon registry is a perfectly acceptable registry. So, get over there and create your dream honeymoon.

- You are able to create an account in 2 minutes. Which, I did to make sure it was easy peasy for you. You can start here. You can see The Wedding Chicks dream honeymoon here.

- They are not a travel agency so you can book the travel anywhere you like. Traveler’s Joy has a ton of example trips so you can find a unique trip, that works for you.

  1. My husband and I registered for our South American honeymoon and got an amazing response. I included so many fun details in the descriptions (rather than just “dinner out”) and people LOVED it. In fact, we even had $$$ leftover to buy some cool trinkets + pieces of art. Definitely a good way to go!

  2. hmmm…since we’re in the early stages of wedding planning, this is a pretty hot topic of debate at home. Right now, we’re leaning toward India – we have a friend from there who told us about all these remote, beautiful, beaches, and then we can swing by Nepal on the way home (since we’re in the neighborhood, ya know) to appease the latent mountaineer in me who really wants to just elope on Everest.

  3. We used Traveler’s Joy for our honeymoon to Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam and it was amazing! Our guests helped us have special dinners, massage treatments and even a boat cruise! If only we could do it again, I would send us to Morocco!

  4. I want to go to Balli! I just saw a shot from Balli on Oprah :-)

  5. We mostly wanted our guests to help us out with our honeymoon, but there were a couple of other things we wanted (like nice everyday plates and flatware) so we ended up using myregistry.com to register for both. We picked out whatever we wanted from any store and then we made a honeymoon fund. Problem solved!

  6. I’m dying to go back to Australia to practice yoga and take surfing lessons. Life is a lot more relaxed and focused on those around you there. I can appreciate the vibe and miss it terribly!

  7. So cool! Why didn’t I know about this when I got married. I wouldn’t have minded second hand kitchen items if I had memories from a tropical honeymoon to keep me warm.

  8. Oh man, sure could use a trip to somewhere relaxing like Hawaii…definitely time for another honeymoon! I would register for this in a second!

  9. We want to go to St. Lucia! I have been hearing so much about this place and after seeing it on the Bachelor we are hooked! Hopefully one day we can :)

  10. Wow this is fabulous- I’ll make sure to pass this on to my brides

  11. This is an awesome idea! Wish it would’ve been around when I got married! We’d go to Tahiti and Bali…but then there is always the temptation to go to Europe and do a little Bavarian adventure. Hmmm…

  12. We decided to make a honeymoon fund on the registry we had already started on myregistry.com since it already kind of had a honeymoon theme with all the luggage we put on there. This way we were able to make funds for dinners, activities, airfare, etc.
