A Loomis California Farmhouse Wedding

yellow wedding ideas

Happy Monday Everyone! Boy do we have some special treats for you today.

First off we are going to start with one of the happiest weddings I have ever seen! This wedding is gushing with steal worthy ideas and some down right cheerful colors. The entire wedding has a fireman inspired theme, bright yellow and red details flow throughout the wedding.

We are so thrilled that Tiny Water Photography shared this joyful wedding with us.

Megan and Matt were married in Loomis, California at The Flower Farm. A perfect venue for a farmhouse wedding. Their expansive barn can host up to 200 of your closest friends and family for a good old fashion ho down. The impressive wooden beams and graceful leaf-accented chandeliers is a more than perfect venue for that shabby chic farmhouse wedding of your dreams.

We also would love for you to check out this Miami Wedding Tiny Water sent us… so cute.

carved love sign

Megan’s Dad custom made this wooden Matt hearts Megan sign with his handy chainsaw. This is going to look utterly perfect in their living room to remember their special day.

Are you swooning over Megans’s dress?

It was designed by Lena Medoyeff Bridal Couture. In order to spice up her look she wore a white sash for the ceremony and a cheerful yellow for the reception. Love mixing it up a bit to add some flavor to your look.

How perfect do the bridesmaid look?

All of the ladies were dressed in yellow lemon sundresses from Anthropologie. I adore the dresses, but I think the best part of their look was they all wore different cherry colored high heels to complete their look. From red espadrilles to red wedges, so incredibly cute.

vintage fire truck

Yep, that is a 1932 Le France firetruck! Styled with fireman accessories and flower boxes. How awesome is that?

Do you love Megans’s bridal bouquet. Wrapped with white ribbon and detailed with tiny significant charms makes this one of the most detailed wedding bouquets I have seen in quite some time.

fireman wedding

Rolls of water hoses where used as aisle runners, continuing on with the fireman inspired wedding ideas. How clever is that?

Guests names and table numbers were hand written on an array of brightly colored flowers and placed in a box of grass so they knew exactly where to sit. The creativity involved and the attention to detail goes on and on.

  1. The bride is stunning; her dress is perfect for her! And that candy/dessert bar – the colors alone are outstanding… plus, I covet the ribbons on those clear favor bags. I adore the hue of those photos! And what a unique touch (among many) to run fire hoses down the aisle. I admire how far outside of the box she went in designing her event. That there’s a pretty nice wedding, I must say. Beautiful work done by all involved, bravo and thank you for this loveliness!

  3. Oh my goodness…I LOVE THESE PICTURES. The yellow colors are just divine. I’m actually doing a feature on yellow tomorrow, so I’m bummed I didn’t see this sooner for inspiration. JUST GORGEOUS!

  4. can someone PLEASE tell me how the beer in the ceremony worked out? i LOVE it.

  5. I love how cheerful, fun, playful and bright this wedding is! I really love the center pieces- limes are awesome.

  6. I’m the lucky bride from the above wedding, and all of your lovely comments have just brought a smile to my face. I wanted to answer some of the questions you had…

The beers were sitting in galvanized buckets at the arch legs – when we were announced as husband & wife, the man marrying us reached down to hand us the beers so as we turned to face the crowd we “Cheers”ed to them. The rest of the bridal party grabbed one of their way out as well.

The girls’ dresses were from Anthropologie, bought about this time last year – I believe they were called the “Behind the Clouds” dress.

Thank you for letting us reminisce in the great day we had together on our wedding day, and here’s a huge shout to our incredibly, fantastic wedding photographers – Tinywater.

    Cheers!
