Who is ready for some style?
We had such an amazing time at our first Style Lab, as I mentioned previously it was quite a production with El Nino and all. But, as you can see our ultra super delicious girlfriend worked it out. Chenin Boutwell, our partner in crime not only taught our lovely attendees priceless information on how to get your photography business moving, but she also taught them how to rock it out in the rain. Which, being a non photographer I would think would be pretty important. All in all despite some major obstacles it was pretty darn fabulous if I do say so myself.
This exceptional two day workshop would not have been so incredible without our freaking amazing team. First let’s start out with Angel from events of love & splendor and Kristin from the treasured petal who styled this stylish science inspired event. Complete with graduated beakers filled with lilies, cattleya orchids and other dreamy flowers. There where terrariums filled with succulents and test tubes filled with exotic flowers. The most interesting detail was the bare bulbs hung from the trees filled with flowers. Think a scientist’s lab meets wild gardener’s greenhouse.
For information on the next Style Lab Workshop email us here and be sure to visit Chenin‘s site for some more ridiculous eye candy.

The tasty cake was baked with love by The Vanilla Bake Shop. They also created some other tasty treats that were ruined by the sideways rain and the mini hurricane. Dang El Nino! The invitations where designed by one of our favorite stationers, Wiley Valentine. They are beyond super stylish.

Let’s chit chat about the dress! Well… it was designed and created by Joan Shum who we just became besties with. Amy and I had the privilege of going to her studio and we had the best time. We are huge Joan Shum fans and she is bringing the Corset back in a big way.

Thank You again to everyone. Big Kisses Hugs and all that jazz from The Style Lab Ladies ( Chenin + Jocey + Amy) We cannot forget special props to Doug Boutwell of Totally Rad Actions, who is totally rad.
