bridesmaid revisited

If you are feeling like you want to do a little something different Courtney from Little White Book showcased a wedding with some a unique twist on the bridesmaid style. Each one of the bridesmaids had a different fabric dress. Although each dress wad different they each contained snippets of another fabric that matched another dress. To tie the dresses together they each had a delicate brown bow at their waist and a gardenia gently placed in their up do. Each bridesmaid wore a pair of earthy brown shoes, which tied everything together beautifully. Our funky shoes are from frye.

If you adore this look and feel and what to do something similiar Amy Butler has some happy fabrics that you can mix and match.

  1. I love mixing fabrics for the bridesmaids dresses. I come from an interior design background, so I always tell my brides to think outside the box! I can’t wait to share this with my fans on FB!!!! Thanks Wedding chicks!

Wow, these are so creative and unique. Having non-matching bridesmaid dresses is such a great idea, but I love that they tied them all together with fabrics from the other dresses. The bride’s gown is adorable as well. Thanks for sharing!

It is amazing how the fabrics don’t match but match. Do you know what I mean? These dresses are wonderful and they go to show that bridesmaids don’t have to be matchy-matchy to pull off a personalized theme at a wedding.
