Lauren Kinsey share with us Lizzie’s & Jesse’s wedding which, was a focus on family and friends along with good food and good wine. But, most importantly she wanted to have a Green Wedding. The lodge was green-certified, the invitations were on all recycled paper, the bridesmaids were told they could choose their own dresses. The flowers, hand picked from around the area as well as purchased at Flower Exchange.
Lizzie did some DIY projects, and let others fall to the wayside as we got closer to the wedding. It’s important to get sleep and not stress out too much! Lizzie made the flower for my hair from a ripped apart fake flower and bits and pieces of lace and tulle from my dress —- a hot glue gun is a bride’s best friend!
The candle lit fireplace as a back-up plan turned out to be lovely. Nothing should make your wedding day less than completely joyous! The simple touches make all the difference. Thank you so much Lizzie and Lauren for sharing your special day.
The cake looks incredibly delicious, so fresh so yummy. It definitely goes to show you that you do not need all the bells and whistles to truly have something unique and ohh so beautiful.
I absolutely love those shoes and they are the perfect shade of aubergine for my wedding. Since she went we the eco theme I am assuming they are a great vintage find, but I would love to know the label, as i can’t quite make it out on the pic. Thanks so much and keep up the great work!

I am lucky enough to be sister of the groom and now sister in law of the beautiful and VERY cool headed bride. This was definitely one of the most simple yet beautifully elegant weddings I have been to. They really did an amazing job. And what a reception!!
