I would love to make my own invitations and programs, especially since we’d need to have both English and Chinese versions for our guests.
I have tons of DIY projects lined up so this baby would come in handy for the programs, invitations, menus, escort cards, and whatever else I come up with between now and the wedding date! : )
This would be perfect to make everything from menus to placecards. I love Epson’s quality, and diy’ing rocks!
I would use my Artisan 800 for my small stationery business. Oh, how I need a new printer!
I would use the printer for all of the DIY projects for our wedding. Our current printer is about ready to kick the bucket, so a new printer is definitely on the horizon. What a great giveaway!
I would love a great printer to make wedding programs and menus on before the wedding and to print wedding photos on afterwards!
Oh my gosh! This is just what I need! We tried to print our save the dates on our home printer and had so many problems! This printer would make printing our invitations, menu cards, place cards, favor tags and table numbers a breeze! I would also use it to do all my scrapbook projects, help to do my brother’s wedding paper needs in the winter, and use it do all the fun party favor projects I love to do year round.
What wouldn’t i use that for? OMG, i figure if i won this, i’d end up DIY any and all stationary items i need for my wedding… and possibly volunteer to do them for my friend’s events too just for fun!
This Epson would be perfect for my entire scope of DIY projects… I’m even doingt he graphic design for my album, so this would cut out costs of a 3rd party printer!
We designed our save-the-date for our wedding but didn’t go through the dreaded printing process yet. This Epson would make it so much easier, especially when comes the time to do the invitations!
I would use the Artisan 800 to create Thank-you Post-cards w/ personalized pictures with each guests from my destination wedding in St. Maarten – Thank-you + keepsake = priceless!
wow, it sounds like a great printer. I really need a printer for my wedding needs, but it just wasn’t in the budget. By so far this is the best giveaway yet.
We are on such a tight budget for our wedding, I would love to have the Epson to print all our invites, etc. and once the wedding was done I could do so many fun projects. Which would include a huge thank you note to Wedding Chicks if I won!!
Ohh what a cool prize! My fiance and I are on a squeaky tight budget so this would definately be beficial to us! I would use it for my invites, menues, and all that good stuff! I want my wedding to look just as professional as a bride who isn’t on a budget!
Wow. I cannot tell you how bad we need a new printer. I’ve been shying away from DIY’ing anything bc ours is so old. I would use this for everything! Including photo save the date cards!
I have a friend-artist, who is composing our save the dates and invitations… I’d love to save the money and finish the DIY project myself!
i would love to use a new printer for a diy photobooth at our reception!
The Artisan 800 would be the most perfect companion as I journey into the creative art world after finishing the four year degree everyone else wanted me to get. I jumped from major to major to find a place that felt like "me" only to discover that my creative self was holding me back from being your conventional college graduate who got a job right after school. I have always loved crafts, sewing, painting, photography, and sharing homemade jewelry and cards with friends so I am on a path to discover how I can make this my career. For my wedding I have utilized creativity to both keep my costs down and accomplish the feel of love and attention in every detail. As I have just started my first blog I would love to share my journey with others who are doing the same, and post pictures of all the pieces I create (from my wedding programs to thank-you notes, and future cards, etc) from the ‘artisan 800′ to inspire others.
I would use it for DIY projects!
this looks amazing, I feel like it has so many uses i’d probably be crafting up a storm!
I just bought one so if I won this one I could return mine.
oh man I really need this. I will be printing my menus and programs with this!
That printer is sweet! We could knock out all of our DIY printing needs with that baby. Fiance would be happy so I dont have to use his business printer!
Ah! I would love love love this printer! Would you believe our printer just broke?? And I have so many DIY projects left! I would use it for the other half of our STDs, our invitations, our programs, and all of our signs! Pick me!
THIS IS SOOOO COOL! I would put this to great use with my best friends wedding just around the corner too! This would be amazing for unique invites, programs, menus…. Every thing paper related! And as a newbie photographer I have been searching for a low cost alternative to custom CDs and brochures! Oh and cool little personalized thank you notes to my clients! This would be an amazing thing to own. I HOPE I WIN!!!!! :D
I’d use it to make freaking awesome save the dates!
With so many different "paper" things to personalize, having my own printer would make my life so much easier! I just got a new laptop but don’t have a printer yet! It would be awesome to have an amazing printer to let me print out the placecards, programs and little notes to tie to our bubbles!
You girls rock!
oh my goodness, I would use this printer for everything! from my save the dates, to my fan programs, my menus, my thankyou cd’s. it would make the wedding DIY process so much easier!
I’d love to create my own invitations and CD favors and this would be an awesome tool to get it done! All my paper stuff would get done with this! :)
I’m a designer and I have so many of my own amazing ideas that I want to produce but it would be so difficult to have it done at a printers and VERY expensive. This is the perfect solution…I can print it all myself and it’ll be exactly what I want.
Wow it sounds like that printer can do everything and even more. I would use it for pictures around the house, cards at any season, invitation and other inspirational items!
Would use this for multiple projects. It would make my life easier!
I am planning to make individual personalized thank you cards. My goal is to make a photo montage of the wedding event and print it out. This will be perfect to accomplish my little project.
I would use this for everything. I love customization and DIY projects for my wedding and this would make it all so beatiful!!! We are having a destination wedding, so this would help us by making beautiful stuff that is easily trasnportable to take down to Mexico
I’m planning on printing engagement photos to use as table numbers, labels with our logo for EVERYTHING, invitation inserts for extra info, and ceremony programs! I’ve been trying to learn how to use photoshop for these projects and I’m absolutely loving it! :D
I would love to use this to print my wedding invitations. I’m a graphic designer and am really looking forward to making them all myself and this would make it so much easier!
I would definitely use it for CD/DVD Labels (which I know are probably an old and overused, but I just learned about them. Then I would do menus, place cards and hopefully it will print photos clear enough that I can put them into my thank you cards.
Seeing as my fiance just got laid off today (Yay Economy!) I think I will be doing anything I can to keep the cost of the wedding down…making invites, programs, save the dates, decorations for our reception, etc. This printer would be a great thing to have!
With all of your inspiring ideas,I would just let my creative mind wonder. Not only am I starting to plan my own wedding I am also the MOH of my best friends wedding. With this printer i can save both of us money which will be used toward a much needed spa day!!!
This would be awesome for my wedding projects. I’m planning to print Save the Dates at the end of the month, and I was planning to purchase a new printer. It would be the greatest thing if I could win this!
I need this because I am more excited about designing and making my own save the dates, invitations, programs, menu, place cards, etc. than I am about anything else (besides actually getting married of course!) More than picking out a dress. Seriously.
This would solve all of my printing problems! First I’d crank out our save the dates. Next, I’d work on things like our menus, programs, escort cards, etc. The only thing we were planning on having printed by a nice printing company were the invitations, but if I had this, I wouldn’t have to spend the next 6-7 months running in and out of kinkos.
I am a graphic designer starting my own business and am working out of my home. My huge lack right now is a printer and I would be so blessed to be the winner of this Epson! It would solve a HUGE problem for me! Thank you!
For the most pertinent to wedding planning, I’d print thank you cards with our favorite wedding photos. For the actual wedding, it would be our DIY photobooth! My FI just kicked in the idea that we would program some facial recognition software for it so our guest would step in front of it and *BING* it takes a picture for our photo book and print out your table assignment!! ;-)
I would head straight into DIY mania if I had such a fabulous printer! Every wedding related paper product you can think of. Fingers crossed!
This would be a huge help with my thank you notes!
What an awesome contest! I would use this for making my invitations, programs, menus, stationery for part of my bridesmaid’s gift and printing pictures!
What a fantastic giveaway for do it yourself-ers! Wonderful idea!
I’m designing all my stationary type stuff for my wedding, but have been using my black and white printer. I would be able to make all my designs in that exact shade of blue that I want with this printer!
I would use it for my save the dates, programs, and invitations!
I’d use this beauty for everything you mentioned and more. I’m all about diy projects, so this would come in handy for: save the dates, invitations, programs, menus, escort cards, place cards, favor/guestbook table signs, thank you cards, AND that’s just the wedding! Afterwards I’d happily continue my printing projects!
my fiancĂ©e and I are definitely in need of saving money where we can. I’d use my printer for save the dates, invitations, you name it!!!
Ohh what a cool prize! My fiance and I are on a squeaky tight budget so this would definately be beneficial to us! I would use it for my invites, menues, and all that good stuff! I want my wedding to look just as professional as a bride who isn’t on a budget! And I LOVFE to take pictures so it would definately be used after the wedding as well.
Being a designer I can’t bring myself to purchase save the dates, invitations, or anything of this sort for my wedding. Plus, there is nothing more personal then designing them myself and I love that really intimate and personal touch. Right now I actually don’t have a worthy printer at home. I have been using my fiance’s which just won’t cut it for the actual wedding invites, and neither will printing them all at work! ;) I would love to work my magic and rock this new printer! I had an Epson while I was in design school and loved it so much. This would be so perfect!
our current printer is over 5 years old and is just horrible. Even after we calibrate it and everything, we still get funny lines when we print. Save my save the date printing and pick me for this contest : )
OMG! My Best friend is getting married next year and I’ve been helping with all the DIY projects. This would be great for everything from save the date cards to the "Wedding Guidebook" idea we’ve been playing around with. A travel themed booklet (the couple met in Hawaii) with info on everything you need to know about the Wedding plus things to do, restaurants, hotels etc in the area. The DVD printer would be perfect for sending out slideshows of the event with a Video thank you message from the couple.
Im still lusting after this printer…:)
There are so many things I could do with this! Custom thank-you cards, Christmas cards, invites, programs, favor tags, ANYTHING that can be printed!
I really want this printer! It’s so awesome! DIY here i come!
DIY projects for friends who are getting married soon and their showers! This would help a lot!
Wow, this would be AWESOME! My printer is about 10 years old and doesn’t even print in color!
I would be absolutely tickled pink to win this bad boy! The projects would be endless!
I have a teeny tiny budget for my wedding — especially after the financial meltdown of the past month or so — so I plan to do almost everything DIY: invites, programs, menus and CDs. This would make everything that much more professional looking help me cut costs in more ways than I can even imagine right now.
I’m the bride’s mom with a creative flair. I know I can create great looking save the dates, shower invitations, menus, etc. to make my daughter’s wedding perfect. The Epson Artisan 800 sounds like just what I need to cut printing costs and have professional results. The old printer I have now barely prints! I’m the person who’s paying the wedding bill, and it’s been tough to plan a beautiful wedding while having to cut back on everything!

Love that printer – perfect for completing our invites, menus and activity informatio packets we will be including in the welcome bags.
oh my goodness, I have so many projects left to use this puppy for–b’maids stationery, placecards, welcome bags, maps, direction cards, slideshow pics–the list goes on! crossing my fingers….
I would LOVE to have this printer! I have been drooling over it for a while now…I’d use it to print holiday cards for myself and my photo clients. ~fingers crossed~
This would be awesome for my wedding projects. I’m planning to print Save the Dates at the end of the month, and I was planning to purchase a new printer. It would be the greatest thing if I could win this!
OMG Please randomly pick my number; I haven’t had a printer since college and could really use one for all my DIY weddingness.
Yes, this little prints is a beauty nad I’ve been eyeing a new printer to make all of my Wedding "stuff" from place cards & menus to gift tags & tank yous, and of course save the dates and invitations. And this prints on CDs/DVDs, so I can make special thank yous for all of our wedding party members as well…Oh the possibilities are endless and I can feel my brain crunching ideas away….
I would use the Epson to make my DIY invitation dreams come true! I’m considering a book-style invite since books are part of a subtle theme I’m pursuing. Oh I HOPE I win this lovely printer!
This is so amazing!!!! I would do so much more diy this! Especially for a low cost alternative to a photo booth.
I would absolutely die if I won the Artisan 800. I would, obviously, use it for save-the-dates, invitations, menu cards, programs, etc. I would also use the Artisan 800 to start up the invitation business my fiance and I have dreamed about starting. Finally, I am an artist and an art educator, and this would come in handy for printing out things for class, as well as printing out images of my work…and digital art, itself. This would, basically, be a lifesaver in my life.
I would love to DIY my STDs, invitations, and all other paper goods for the wedding, so this printer would come in super handy!
I’d use it for every DIY project possible! My sister and best friend are both getting married soon, so it would be a huge help!! :)
I’m wishing and hoping that I win the Epson Artisan 800 so I can print our save the dates on a printer that delivers great results! My printer now is on it’s last legs. This prize would be put to good use down the road for the wedding menus, programs, and escort cards too! I had an epson in college and really liked it, so I am sure I would enjoy this one too : )
Ohh what a cool prize!
I live in a building called the Artisan so it’d be appropriate i use an ARTISAN printer for all my DIY wedding needs!
Man alive! I need this SO bad! I have bought printable invitations and a month ago my printer quit working. I am trying to go the cheapest route possible! I promise I would put it to good use!
I would use this as a present to my best friend Jae, who just got engaged. She’s had a hard year. Her mom, who she used to care for passed away about a month ago. She’s an amazing person and really deserves something like this!
OMG, I soooooo need one!! My fiance and I were just talking last night how we need to get a nice printer… we are doing save-the-dates, invites, programs, and menus… and whatever else will probably pop up! We would love to have a good reliable printer to keep us a little more stress-free!
This is exactly what we need to make our Save the Dates! We are making concert poster Save the Dates because we got engaged at a concert. :-) This would make them extraordinary instead of just ordinary. I hope we win! Thanks for sponsoring this contest!
I want this so bad! It would completely open me up to some great DIY projects I’ve been avoiding bc our printer is so lacking. Keeping my fingers crosses!
Well, my fiance keeps assuring me that our DIY’s can be solved with buying a new printer. I want to make personalized (with photos) STD’s and invites. Epson’s products have great results and I am sure we would finally get the color we have been trying to find.
At this point, I don’t even have a working printer – my last one starting leaking ink everywhere (including the carpet, unfortunately) – and I plan to make all the invites, programs, menus etc myself to save as much money as possible. This would really save my budget, and my mind!
such a cute gadget!!it would be great if i have this one as my starter for everything..first for my wedding stationery then i will used it for my future business..what do you think?;]
I currently don’t have a working printer and want to DIY my invitations, programs, and escort cards at the minimum.
I’m getting married next fall and I have many many DIY projects lined up – basically, everything that needs to be on paper will be made by me. I can’t use the color printer at work (I work for a city government agency and will totally get busted using it for personal use) and I would love an excellent printer so that my DIY projects look professional!
Reason #7 why I should be the winner of this printer: I am a graphic designer just starting out, and have been blessed to be gaining clients by the handful it seems. But there’s a slight problem: I have no way to print anything, and as of now, no way to afford a printer!
I’d use this Epson printer for so many DIY projects! We’re six and a half months away from the wedding now, so it’s perfect timing for me to start working on the details. My latest DIY addition is personalized water bottle labels… for which I could really use this printer!
Today i would have loved to print out my 101 in 1001 days list that i am starting.
I’m so ready to win this bad boy! I love it and all of it’s amazing features. I would use it for just about everything wedding related and more!
I would so love this for making all my greeting card necessities and Breast Cancer T-shirts. After going through different trials of finding the right printer to print images on transfer papers, I think the Artisan 800 would be the perfect match for making breast cancer t-shirts-smear/bleed free and quality print! Wish me luck! =) Blessings to all.
Ohhh, so much anticipation over this! This would be the BEST opener to the holiday season. In addition to wedding-related paper things, I would use the Epson to work on my lovely Christmas cards!
You can’t even begin to know how bad I need this printer! My old printer died about a week after I bought all the invitations to print! I need it, and my finace would be so happy I am saving money since we are paying for our wedding ourselves!
So glad you’re giving one of these away. Hope I win so I can use this for all of my friend’s DIY wedding projects.
Winning this would be amazing! Not even having a color printer right now is a huge pain. I dream of becoming a wedding planner eventually and would love starting off on the right foot helping plan my sister’s and best friend’s weddings! I’d LOVE this printer!!
I still want this and i want to use it for everything DIY!
My latest project is a 2009 calendar featuring my best friend’s engagement photos. I think they’ll love it – if I ever get the design finished – and this contest would help me print off beautiful, high quality photos. I hope I win…
I cannot wait to print out our save the dates with this printer. With this kind of photo-quality I feel confident doing it from home! I would love to be able to do most, if not all of our paper projects from the Artisan. It would be a total lifesaver!
I would be ever so greatful if I won the Artisan 800 printer. I’m praying right now, please please pretty please, let me win this Lord. =) It will really make my breast cancer t-shirts alot easier to make plus it will help me reach my goal for the 3day breast cancer walk that I’m doing in 7 days. I have about $248 to raise for this special walk and a couple more t-shirts to make for my team. Check out my cancer website at http://08.the3day.org/goto/Carina Blessings to everyone and Good Luck. ;-)
Oh, we would love to have this brand new Epson for our save-the-dates and other DIY projects! It would be perfect for everything from glossy photos to names on escort cards. Our old printer is so bad that today my fiance went to the library just to print an important color document to avoid the streaks our printer tends to leave behind.
Both being the artistic type – and on a budget – my groom and I can use this to print our invites, announcements and photo albums for our wedding. This is the printer we need to help create our beautiful day.
Love, love, love this printer. I could do some serious DIY damage with this. And spend more $ on shoes!
If I had this great printer, I’d offer to print my cousin’s wedding save the dates for her. I’ve recently found a real calling in (simple) graphic design and cardmaking; this could be my first big project :)
I am a sucker for juicy print quality! Yes, please!
I stayed up late last night designing save-the-date cards on my computer and would love to be able to print them out on some fancy glossy paper with this new Epson printer!
I’ve been checking out printers and the Epson Artisan 800 is perfect for all the wedding things we’d like to make. We’d like to save money by not having them done by a profession printing company.
This printer would give me so much flexibility with our wedding paper-projects! From save the dates, to menus to favor labels, I would use the Artisan for everything! I also love that it has great photo quality so I could finally print pictures from home!
For our wedding, I’ll be DIY-ing all our stationaries stuff and tags. I really need a quality printer that won’t mess up with my designs. Plus I can use this to print my next design projects too. Please can you give this gift to us. :)
Because the Epson Artisan 800 also has copying and faxing capabilities, in addition to printing out some fabulous save-the-dates, I could use it to copy wedding contracts and fax signed documents to vendors. The people at kinkos would miss me!
The Artisan would be a lifesaver! Work, play, wedding-I’d use it for everything! I would just love to be able to print our own save the dates from this bad boy!
I JUST came up with a new (and – gasp! – possibly original?) idea for DIY save the dates. This high quality printer wouldbe the boost I need to make them a reality! My fingers and toes are crossed…
This would be my ultimate gift for 2008. How sweet it would be to end this year with a brand new printer that will solve all my printing needs. The biggest challenge I have are printing images on transfer paper to make my breast cancer t-shirts. Another one is printing thank you cards as many of the problems stem from poor printing quality, i.e. bleeding/smudges. The Artisan 800 would be the solution. Especially that my 3 day Cancer is just around the corner and I have about $248 left to raise so that I am able to walk, this printer would help me so much for all my printing needs. Thank you wedding chicks and I hope you pick me. God Bless. =)
Oh my gosh. I really cannot list all of the amazing things that I want to make with this printer…every thing for the wedding and so much more. I’ll be a DIY bride all the way!!!
I want to DIY everything with these Epson!
Wait, I can do this once a day? Okay – here’ another shot! DIY DIY DIY I will need something to chill out with while I’m mid thesis.
I’d put this baby to good use! We still have to print our save-the-dates, programs, menus, escort cards, and favor tags, not to mention printing contracts and faxing details to vendors. After the wedding I’m sure we’ll be printing plenty of cute photos too!
As a designer I like to make and design everything because a.) i can and b.) i like to customize things…this would help make my like a million times easier and cheaper than running to kinkos or getting it printed! thanks so much!
Oh I can’t wait to find out who gets to be the lucky one to win this awesome printer. I hope it’s me. This would be my ultimate solution to my breast cancer t-shirt and thank you card printing necessities. I believe the Artisan 800 printer would make great breast cancer t-shirts. I’m sure alot of folks out there have had issues with printing images on transfer papers. As I mentioned before, if you don’t have the ideal printer to do the job to print your images on transfer paper for your t-shirts, it pretty much is a waste of alot of hard work and wholelotta hassle of finding a professional printing lab that can help you out (which cost extra funds to do the job as well). Not only will the Artisan 800 help me with all my printing needs but it will likely help me raise the remaining 3 day breast cancer fundraiser of $248 by printing shirts and selling them for a good cause (http://08.the3day.goto/Carina All the proceeds will go directly to the Susan G Koman foundation for research and for a cure. Good Luck everyone and God Bless. =)
This would be a faaaaaabulous gift for us. I could make beautiful invitations with the help of my mother who is an artist!
The Artisan 800 has everything my old printer doesn’t have! Fax, Wi-Fi, copier and great quality printing for our menus, invites, save the dates, etc……..We need this printer!
Would LOVE this printer to finish off my DIY invites – the quality looks amazing!
I’m a designer and I could totally use a new printer like this. I LOVE the print on CD function. Plus the ink in this baby is amazing!!! I would use this printer like crazy for all my wedding stuff and so many other projects…custom wrapping paper & labels, gift calendars, photo cards…I could go on and on…
invites, programs, favors, escort cards… ahhh… a new printer would be amazing!
You name it and I would make it with this amazing printer! I love it and have been dreaming of all of the beautiful paper products we could do ourselves! I’m really hoping to making our own save the dates!
Ok, I’ve listed all the wonderful wedding-related things I would do with this printer, I have to profess a more mundane, dare I say nerdy use I have for the epson: my thesis! I’m about halfway done a masters degree and between multiple drafts and recruitment flyers, I do a lot of (double-sided) printing!! This would be a real time saver for this starving student….please pick me!
It’s Epson Artison 800 Day! This is the Day!
I would love to use this printer for my wedding projects, especially my save-the-date cards because they’re the next thing I need to print!
As a recent design graduate, I NEED this to get me off an running in my professional life and as a soon to be bride with my DIY invites!
