Cecil Beaton the original arbiter of pen-and ink poises, the British born artist made his
name as a lensman and costume set designer but he also left a legacy of fabulous floral
textile designs, reissued by Beaudessert. The patterns where created in 1948 for haute
couture, but Beaudesert’s cottons, silks and wallpapers are for home use. We love the
use of roses and pansies (they remind of us of Betsy Johnson for the home)!
